IT for organisations in Losser.
For businesses on De Pol and Zoeker Esch, and for leisure and hospitality in De Lutte and along the Dinkel.
Two kinds of business, two kinds of network
Losser has businesses on a business park and businesses in the landscape. The first group wants an office that works. The second has guests: a holiday park, a hotel or a restaurant where visitors expect wifi, the till must keep working and the signal outdoors is patchy. For both we arrange network, workstations and hosting.
What we do in Losser
Network and security
Guest wifi across a whole site, strictly kept apart from the till and the administration. A second connection over the mobile network, so card payments carry on if the line goes down.
Workplace and collaboration
Mail and files set up properly, with accounts for seasonal staff that close by themselves at the end of the season.
Websites and online shops
A site in Dutch and German, with reservations built in, for guests from both sides of the border.
Hosting and cloud
Your website and systems on our hardware in Twente, under Dutch law.
Next to the border, not across it.
Zoeker Esch and De Pol together form the municipality's largest business park; the smaller ones are in De Lutte and Overdinkel. Gronau is closer than Hengelo, but your data sits in Hengelo, on the Dutch side.

Questions
Can you install wifi on a holiday park or campsite near Losser?
Yes. We survey the site first, because trees, distance and caravans matter more than square metres. Then we place access points outdoors and indoors, each with a cable where possible. Guests get their own network with internet only; the till, the barrier and the office are strictly kept apart from it. The management we do remotely.
What happens to card payments if the internet in De Lutte goes down?
With a second connection over the mobile network, the firewall switches over by itself and card payments keep working. For hospitality and leisure we recommend that as standard, because an outage on a busy Saturday costs revenue straight away. We measure the mobile signal at the cabinet's location beforehand, as it differs from farm to farm.
How do you handle accounts for seasonal staff?
With accounts that have an end date. At the start of the season we create them with exactly the access needed, for instance only the till and the rota. On the agreed date they close by themselves. That way there are no dozens of old accounts with a known password left over after the summer.
Do you also work for businesses in Overdinkel and De Lutte?
Yes, for the whole municipality of Losser. The distance to Hengelo is shown above and is easy to manage for work on site. Management and most outages go remotely. For a business close to the border it helps to know that the data stays in the Netherlands, even when the nearest town is German.
