IT support with no helpdesk in between.

You email or call, and get one of the two people who know your environment.

Short answer

Jevana gives IT support to organisations whose environment we manage. Your organisation's contact person reports a fault or asks a question by email or phone, and gets one of the two administrators on the line. There is no first line with a script in between. We are available on working days from 09:00 to 17:00. Cover outside those hours is a separate agreement.

What we do, and what we do not

A classic helpdesk takes every question from every employee, writes it down and passes it on. We do not do that. We set up an environment so there is little to ask, and fix what still goes wrong.

In practice it runs through one or two contact people at your end. They know what is going on, gather the questions and have a direct line to us. For the question of where a button is in Excel, we are not the right party. For a laptop that will not start, a full mailbox or a printer holding up the whole office, we are.

What happens after you report

  1. 01

    Report

You describe what is not working, for whom, and since when. A screenshot helps.

  2. 02

    Look

We look in from a distance. Most faults can be found that way without anyone having to visit.

  3. 03

    Fix

We fix it, or say honestly that it lies with another supplier and contact that party ourselves.

  4. 04

    Report back

You hear what the cause was. If something keeps coming back, we change the set-up.

Questions

How do I report a fault?

You report a fault by emailing support@jevana.systems or by phone. Say what is not working, for which colleague or on which device, and since when. A photo or screenshot of the error message often saves a whole round of questions. If the whole office is affected, call: it is faster than typing and we can look in straight away.

How quickly do you respond to a report?

That is fixed in your contract and depends on how serious the fault is. An office that has come to a standstill goes before a question about a new user. We do not state response times in minutes or hours on the website, because they differ per client and we only promise what is on paper. In office hours you get a person.

Can our employees phone you directly?

As a rule, contact runs through your organisation's contact person. They know the situation, stop three colleagues reporting the same fault and know what has been agreed. If you want staff to reach us themselves during a fault, that can be an agreement in the contract. We are not a helpline for everyday use of software.

What falls outside support?

Explaining how to use programs, such as formulas in Excel or the layout of a document, falls outside support. The same goes for equipment and software we do not manage, unless that has been agreed. If a fault comes from another supplier's system, we find out where it sits and contact that party.

Can we buy support alone, without management?

We would rather not. Support on an environment we do not manage means working out how everything fits together at every fault, and that costs you time and money. That is why support comes with a management agreement. If you first want to know what runs at your organisation and where the risks are, an inventory is the first step.

Tell us what you run.

An introduction costs nothing. You talk straight away to one of the two people who will actually do the work.
