Magento B2B: an online shop that knows your buyers.

Their own prices, their own range, ordering on account. And the orders going straight into your ERP.

Short answer

Magento suits B2B because it supports customer groups, tier prices and restricted catalogues as standard. Fuller features, such as company accounts with several buyers, quotes and order lists, are part of Adobe Commerce or can be added to Magento Open Source with modules. Jevana sets up B2B shops and links them to the ERP, so prices and stock come from one source.

Adobe Commerce needs a yearly licence from Adobe. For many wholesalers, Open Source with two or three modules is cheaper and enough.

The price comes from the ERP, not from the shop

A business customer has agreements: a price list, a discount on a product group, their own payment terms. Those agreements live in the ERP. A B2B shop that retypes them is out of step within a month.

That is why a B2B shop starts with the integration. Prices, stock and customer data come from the ERP; orders go to it. The shop is the counter, not the bookkeeping.

Questions

Can Magento handle customer-specific prices?

Yes. Magento has customer groups, and each group can get its own prices and tiers. If every customer has a price list of their own, we pull it from the ERP and show it after login. The customer sees their price, their discount and only the range they may order. Visitors without an account see nothing, or the list price.

Are quotes and order lists built into Magento?

In Adobe Commerce they are: it comes with a B2B package with quotes, order lists, quick order and company accounts. In Magento Open Source you add those features with modules, from a vendor or custom. Which route is cheaper depends on how many of those features you really use. We work that out beforehand.

Can business customers order on account?

Yes. The simplest form is a payment method that is only visible to approved customers. The order goes to the ERP, which makes the invoice and watches the payment terms. If you want to check a credit limit before accepting the order, the shop asks the ERP for it during checkout.

Can one Magento installation serve several countries?

Yes, that is what Magento's multistore is for. From one back office you run several shops, each with its own domain, language, currency, prices and VAT rules. You share the catalogue and stock, or split them per country. To the visitor they are separate shops; to your team it is one system.
