JevanaHub is our managed version of Nextcloud Hub: files, office software, chat and video calls, calendar and contacts in one environment. It all runs on our own hardware in the Netherlands. Much of it will feel familiar from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, without your data going to an American platform. We set up the environment, migrate your existing data and keep it running after that.

What exactly is JevanaHub?

JevanaHub is Nextcloud Hub, set up and managed by us: an open source workspace with files, office software, chat, video calls, calendar and contacts in one. It is an alternative to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. We host it on our own hardware, migrate your existing data and manage the environment after that.

Can I still work with Word, Excel and PowerPoint files?

Yes. The Office feature in JevanaHub works with existing Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. You open and edit them in the browser, together with colleagues, without converting anything first. People outside your organisation who receive a file from you can simply open it in their own program.

Where does our data live when we use JevanaHub?

Your data lives on our own hardware, in a data centre in Hengelo. There is no American cloud company between your data and us. The same goes for the AI assistant inside JevanaHub: it runs on our own servers, so nothing goes to an outside AI service.

Can you move our files and calendars over from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

Yes. We bring your files, calendars and contacts over to JevanaHub. Your email can move in the same switch, or keep running where it is now: we agree that with you in advance, depending on what works best for your organisation.

Does JevanaHub work on a phone and away from the office?

Yes. Besides the browser there are the Nextcloud apps: a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux, and a mobile app for iOS and Android. Files sync automatically, so you have them to hand offline too. Chat, video calls and calendar work the same way, wherever you are.

Is Microsoft 365 sometimes the better choice after all?

Sometimes, yes. If you lean heavily on specific Microsoft integrations or complex Excel macros that only work with Microsoft, Microsoft 365 often fits better. We give honest advice on what fits your organisation: Microsoft 365, JevanaHub on our hardware, or a combination of the two.

Can we take our data with us if we ever want to stop?

Yes. JevanaHub is built on Nextcloud Hub, which is open source: there is no closed system to get stuck in. You can always take your data and configuration to another provider that runs Nextcloud. Being able to leave is exactly why people stay.
