Advice on your IT, with no hidden agenda.
We look at what runs, what it costs and which choices make sense for your organisation.
Sometimes the advice is: change nothing
We look at what runs now, who manages it and what it costs. The advice that follows fits your organisation, not what earns us the most. Sometimes that means a switch. Sometimes it means staying exactly where you are.
What you get
An inventory of your IT
An overview of what runs, who manages it and what it costs.
- Which systems, subscriptions and suppliers you have now
- Who is responsible for what
- What it costs per month and per year
- Where the risks are, such as one person who knows everything
Microsoft 365, open source or both
We advise what fits your organisation, not what earns us the most.
- Microsoft 365, with email, Teams and SharePoint
- Open source on our own servers, such as JevanaHub and Forgejo
- A mix of the two, per department or per application
- What switching means, or what not switching means
Changing supplier
A plan for the switch, from the first step to the last.
- Mapping what has to move: data, configuration and access
- A step-by-step plan for the switch itself
- Guidance during the migration
GDPR and your data
Questions about where your data lives and who may work with it.
- Where your data lives, and with which parties
- Data processing agreements with your suppliers
- Who has access, and whether that is still right
Licences and subscriptions
A review of what you pay for, and why.
- Which licences and subscriptions you have, and who uses them
- Where you have too many or too few
- What you can cancel without anyone noticing
Growth and moving office
Thinking along before you buy or move.
- What a new location means for internet, network and workstations
- What grows with you, and what needs setting up again as the team gets bigger
- Advice up front, so you do not have to repair afterwards
When this comes up
- Nobody knows any more which subscriptions are running, or what for
- A supplier no longer suits you, but switching feels like a risk
- A client or a tender asks where your data lives
- You are moving to a new office, or growing faster than your IT keeps up
Who this is for
For a director or manager who has no time to work out every IT decision, but does want to know where they stand. Also for anyone who wonders whether their current supplier is still the right one.
Sometimes standing still is the advice
Not every piece of advice ends in a switch or a new subscription. If what you have works well and is fairly priced, we say so.
Switching without the fuss
Changing supplier starts with mapping what has to move. Then we write a step-by-step plan.
More about switchingQuestions
What does an advice meeting cost?
A first introduction costs nothing. In it we discuss what you want to know and what you are running into. If you then need concrete advice, an inventory or a plan for switching, we put together a proposal for your situation. That way you know where you stand before any costs come in.
Do you give advice even if we buy nothing else from you?
Yes. An inventory, or advice on Microsoft 365 versus open source, is separate from whether you move hosting or management to us. We tell you what fits your organisation, even if that means staying with your current supplier. The advice is the same either way.
What if the advice is that we do not need to change anything?
Then we say so, even if you paid for the advice. An inventory can show that your systems fit together well and are fairly priced. In that case standing still is the advice, and we explain why, so you can judge for yourself whether that still holds a year from now.
Can you help with questions about the GDPR?
We look at where your data lives and which data processing agreements you have with suppliers. We do not assess your whole organisation against the GDPR as a lawyer would, but we do map what is going on and where the risks are. You can use that overview yourself with a client, a commissioning party or a regulator.
Do you help when we move to a new office?
Yes, we think through what a new location means for internet, network and workstations. That way everything is ready on the day you move, instead of finding out after the move what still has to be arranged. That includes the internet line and the network in the new building.
Do you also review our existing licences?
Yes. We map which licences and subscriptions you have, who uses them and where you have too many or too few. After that you know where you can save or where you need to buy more. If you like, we include that overview in the wider IT advice.
