Short answer

EspoCRM is a CRM: one place for accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, activities and email, with fields and layouts you adapt yourself. It is an alternative to HubSpot CRM, Salesforce and Pipedrive. Jevana hosts EspoCRM as an instance of its own on hardware in the Netherlands, does the updates, makes the backups and monitors the system. You and your team use it.

The memory of your business

In many companies the knowledge about clients lives in heads and mailboxes. As soon as someone is ill or leaves, it turns into a search. A CRM answers the question: who is this, what was discussed, and what has to happen now.

EspoCRM is made for that. You record who the client is, which conversations took place and which quote is outstanding. Colleagues pick it up without you having to explain anything.

What is stored where

In EspoCRMThat is
AccountA company or organisation
ContactA person at an account
LeadSomeone who is not a client yet, but shows interest
OpportunityA possible job, with the stage it is in
ActivityA conversation, task or appointment tied to a relationship
EmailMessages kept with the right relationship

You adjust fields, screens and stages to how your business works. That does not have to go through us.

Questions

Can EspoCRM replace HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive?

For recording relationships, leads, opportunities, activities and email it can. EspoCRM is deliberately a simple CRM that you adapt yourself, not an enormous package with hundreds of modules. Anyone with deeply branched Salesforce processes will miss things. Anyone who mainly wants an overview of clients and quotes finds enough in EspoCRM. We go through that with you before you decide.

Can I adapt EspoCRM to the way I work?

Yes. You add fields, change screens and lists and decide which stages an opportunity goes through. You do that in the system itself, without a programmer. For bigger changes, such as a link with your bookkeeping, we look together at what is feasible. We do not build custom work into the core of the package itself.

Can EspoCRM receive and send my email?

Yes. Email belongs to the CRM: messages to and from a relationship are kept with that relationship, so a colleague can see what has already been mailed. Exactly how that connects to your mailbox depends on where your mail lives. At set-up we look at your existing mail and fix the link.

Are all EspoCRM extensions free?

No. EspoCRM itself is open source under the AGPL 3.0, but part of the extensions are paid. Many companies get by with the base. If you need an extension that costs money, it appears separately in the proposal you receive first, so you are not surprised afterwards.

Can I take my data out of EspoCRM if I want to leave?

Yes. What you put into EspoCRM is your data: accounts, contacts, opportunities and attachments. It can be exported, and we hand over a full copy of the instance if you move. That is the whole idea of open source. You stay because you are content, not because you cannot get out.

An introduction costs nothing. You talk straight away to one of the two people who will actually do the work.
