How do you share large building drawings with subcontractors?
With a shared folder instead of an email. You put the drawings in JevanaFiles or SharePoint and send a link, with a password and an end date if you like. The subcontractor always opens the latest version, and you see whether they did. It stops anyone on site working from last month's drawing.
Do you also manage the tablets of site managers?
Yes. Company tablets and phones go into the same management as the laptops: a mandatory passcode, the right apps installed in advance and the ability to wipe the device remotely. On a building site things go missing now and then. Then it helps that nothing on the device can be opened by someone else.
