Cal.com: clients pick their own slot, you stop the emailing.
A booking page showing your free time, linked to your calendar. Confirmations and reminders go out by themselves. We look after the server.
Short answer
Cal.com is software for scheduling appointments. You put a booking page online with your free slots, linked to your calendar in Microsoft 365, Google or CalDAV, such as the one in Nextcloud. Clients pick a time themselves and get a confirmation and a reminder. It replaces Calendly. Jevana hosts Cal.com as an instance of its own and handles updates, backups and monitoring.
From link to appointment
- 01
Link your calendar
Cal.com reads your calendar, in Microsoft 365, Google or CalDAV. Whatever is already taken disappears from the choice.
- 02
Set your slots
You choose the days and hours you can be reached, how long a meeting lasts and how much room sits between two appointments.
- 03
Client picks
You share the link or put the page on your website. The client sees only what is free and sends no emails back and forth.
- 04
Confirmed and reminded
Both sides get a confirmation, and the appointment lands in the calendar. A reminder follows shortly before.
For a team rather than one person
With team pages a client books with the group. Think of the advisers at an office or the engineers of a service firm. The client sees when someone has time, without needing to know who.
The page lives on your own domain name, for example appointments.yourcompany.nl. To a client it is simply your website, not someone else's service.

Questions
Does Cal.com work with Microsoft 365 or Google Calendar?
Yes, with both, and with CalDAV too, the open protocol that the Nextcloud calendar uses among others. Cal.com checks your calendar for busy times and writes new appointments back into it. If your team is spread over more than one kind of calendar, that works as well; at set-up we look at what you want to link.
Can Cal.com replace Calendly?
For scheduling appointments it can: a booking page, team pages, confirmations and reminders, linked to your calendar. The difference is that your own installation runs on hardware of ours. Some features the maker sells only under a commercial licence. Which ones you actually need, we find out before you start.
Do clients have to create an account to book with Cal.com?
No. A client opens the link, picks a time, fills in a name and an email address and gets a confirmation. Only the people who offer the appointments, your own colleagues, log in. For the client it is a few clicks, and nobody has to email back to confirm anything.
At which address does my Cal.com booking page live?
On your own domain name, for example appointments.yourcompany.nl. We set that up and arrange the secure address. You can put the page as a link in an email or build it into your website. If you ever move to another provider, the address stays yours.
What does Jevana do for Cal.com, and what does it not?
The server is our job: installing, updating, a daily backup with a second copy elsewhere, and monitoring. The content is yours. You and your colleagues decide when you are available and which kinds of appointment exist. Which calendars get linked, we do together at the start.
