Hyvä Checkout is a checkout page for Magento 2 that replaces the standard checkout. It is written with Magewire and Alpine.js and so loads far fewer scripts. To the visitor it looks like an ordinary, fast checkout. For the developer it is a checkout whose steps and fields sit in configuration instead of being spread over dozens of files.

Yes, as long as the module has a link to Hyvä Checkout. For the large payment providers and carriers in the Netherlands it exists. iDEAL, credit card and pay-later methods run through your payment provider. For pick-up points and delivery slots it depends on the carrier's module. If a link is missing, we build it or look for an alternative.

Yes. Hyvä Checkout also works in a shop that otherwise runs Luma, and since late 2025 it needs no theme licence. It is a way to start with the most important page and do the rest later. You then have two technologies side by side, so in time a whole front end on Hyvä is easier to keep track of.
